Dynamic Logos
Dynamic logos have been deprecated but will continue to be supported. The alternative is to use the media data type.
Dynamic logos are stored in the Logos directory (default: d:\brando\logos\). These are the logos that will be made available when scheduling. In that directory, the available logos for a dynamic logo are the media stored in subdirectories.Â
Here's an example. We have 2 dynamic logos defined: Bumper Sponsors and Sponsors.
All media inside these subdirectories are available to be assigned to objects ^Bumper Sponsors and ^Sponsors. If an XPression scene had a quad named ^Bumper Sponsors, all the media in subdirectory Bumper Sponsors is available. The media can be defined in subdirectories, not just in the current subdirectory. This helps organize the dynamic logos in cases where there are a large number of media. It's quite useful in cases where there may be 100s of logos available. For example, for a sports scene which uses team logos, the team logos could be organized in leagues.
The Team Logos can be organized in league directories:
The key thing to remember is that all the dynamic logos are defined at d:\logos\<dynamic logo>\ and the xpression scenes need to use objects with names ^<dynamic logo>.
