Players
This page is used to assign a Channel and an IP address of where your CG Player resides. This is important if you plan on using the Sequencer page to play out Sequencer Items.
You can use 127.0.0.1 if your player is local and will be locally controlled. Otherwise, use the correct IP address where you may want the CG Sequencer to access the player. If preview support is desired, enter the Preview IP address and port of the Web Player instance that will be used for previewing when creating or editing a player.
The CG Player uses the Chameleon API to communicate with the Chameleon Web Player that is running at the specified IP address using the indicated port. Please check the Chameleon Web Player settings to ensure that the API is enabled and the port values match.
