Do It Yourself Readers for Chameleon

Bannister Lake provides a variety of Readers (parsers) for Chameleon giving users a way to use data from common datafeed providers like Stats Inc., Twitter and AP. All BL readers are free to all users and as our portfolio of Readers continues to grow, all Chameleon users benefit.

However, Chameleon is not a closed environment. Our database is open for customers and 3rd party developers to build their own Readers which can be thrown into the general (and free) Chameleon ecosystem or to sell commercially.

Chameleon's database is open for developers to build their own Readers. The database itself is MySQL-based with the full database schema open and available. There are a few rules which make for a quality reader such as updating the Agent Status:

The Agent Status is available to all Flow users to see the status of agents which include Readers. Agent Status helps Chameleon users know the status of Readers.

BL has a .net template for writing Chameleon Readers which we make available for free. Check here for available readers.
