Election URL Generator
Use the Election URL Generator to assemble the direct query URL for election content.
- Specify URL parameters, as defined in the following table.
- Click Generate to produce the query string in the specified format based on the parameters you set.
- Click Test to generate data in the specified format in a new browser tab based on the parameters you set. Use the Test function to ensure that the topic or playlist returns appropriate results and to view the format of the output.
- Copy and paste the Query String generated in your platforms as needed.
| URL Parameter | Description |

| Format | Select the data format. Select from: XML, JSON, RSS, or CSV |
| Event | Select an election event from the list. |
| Contest | Select an election contest from the list. |
| Playlist | Select a playlist from the list. |
| Results Only | Specify how much data will be returned.

| Unique Xml Elements | Specify how lists of xml elements are returned. Useful for legacy systems that don't handle lists of xml elements.

| Skip Fields | Use this option to exclude some of the fields from the results and improve performace if you aren't going to use them:
