Eligible Voters for an Election

Set Total Eligible Voters

You will want to have an Administrator set the total number of eligible voters for the election. Setting this value allows the system to calculate the approximate percentage of votes cast.

This can be set in the System Configuration module accessible to the Administrator users.

1. Select the Set Election Date tab

2. Choose the current election date from the dropdown list

3. Set the value in the number box beside the Voters label

4. Click the Update Election Details button.

Where is it used?

This value is used when displaying the vote percent in the popular vote graphs in Flow.

The vote% displays in 2 modules:

1. Overall Race

2. Riding Results

Look to the right hand side and be sure you selected the Vote % graph and not the Seats graph.
