Launch Chameleon NDI Player

If you're running a local instance of Chameleon, launch Launch the player by double clicking on Chameleon ProNDI Player Icon.

Once the service has started, you will need to configure. Right click on your Chameleon NDI Player system tray icon and select Manage

Player

Player is the name you give this particular instance of your server. The Channel, Show and Rundown are created in Chameleon WebUI

Stream

This is the computer name where the NDI streams are connected to. Chameleon Flow User Interface.

PLAY / STOPThe PLAY button turns the stream on/off

Settings

  • Project Folder: Be sure to have the Json and its associated project folder in this root folder.
  • Social Media Expiry: Length before Social Media items won't be shown.
  • Checked if you want the server to automatically launch when app is launched
  • NDI Stream on Launch:
    RefreshWill reload the graphics. Will do a refresh of the internal browser used to render the Chameleon graphics.

    Scheduler

    When enabled, the Chameleon NDI Player will use the Chameleon Flow rundown scheduler to change the current Show based on the channel schedule configured.

    FLOW

    This is where you will enter the Chameleon server database location settings.

    The Flow URL can be local or across a network. Any valid user to the Flow server can be used as credentials.
