Output BasicsBasic output control options are universally available throughout the Elector Player interface, as follows: Output . The Elector Player always clears the broadcast output before showing selected graphics. Whether the existing graphics animate or fade off is based on the Elector Player preferences set at the time of broadcast. Tip: The Take and Clear output control options can be controlled using a keyboard. Each option includes a corresponding shortcut key sequence. You can control whether the shortcut key sequence is displayed with the control option as a preference. Select File > Tabs Setup. Select or clear the option to show or hide keyboard shortcut sequences for Take and Clear options. when you want to show an individual scene.Select scenes to show by clicking on individual scenes in the list or by using the Top, Back, Next, and Bottom buttons. This clears individual Scenes/Playlists and the Party Totals scene simultaneously. While displaying a scene from a Playlist, if the operator shows an individual Scene, it will hide the current Playlist scene. If an individual Scene is displaying and a Playlist is shown, the individual scene will be hidden. To display an individual Scene, use the ‘Scenes’ tab. To display a Playlist, use the ‘Playlists’ tab. Only Party scenes are available when showing Party Totals. To display the Party Totals, use the Party Totals tab. | Playlists | Playlists are lists of ordered scenes for play out by the Elector Player. Playlists are defined and managed using Flow and saved in the database for use by the Elector Player. The player can advance through the scenes once or in an ongoing loop and can refresh the currently playing scene with fresh data. - For each playlist tab, select a Playlist ID from the list or start typing to find a playlist using the type-ahead feature.

| Lower Third Name Keys | Use the L3:Name Keys tab to select and output specific lower third name keys. - Select the Scene desired from the list.

- Select a candidate from the list. Click Add to List to add the candidate to the quick-select table.

| Tickers | Use the Tickers tab to select and output individual or group tickers, including bugs, lower third backgrounds, party total chips, breaking news crawls, ticker crawls, riding info scenes, countdown timers, and bug widgets, as available. Show an Individual Ticker - Select the Scene for the kind of ticker desired.
- Show or hide the thumbnail as needed.
- Manage ticker options and settings, as available.
- Control output using the output control options.
- If you update scene data, click Refresh Scene Data to output the latest data.
Image Added Show a Group of Tickers - Select and configure the tickers you want to show by selecting each Ticker option.

| Scene Backgrounds | Use the Fullframe Scenes tab > Scene Background section to select and output specific scene backgrounds. - Select the Scene background desired from the list.
- Choose to automatically show the background when showing fullscreen scenes.
- Control output using the output control options.
Image Added | Single Scenes | Use the Fullframe Scenes tab > Single Scenes section to select and output a specific scene, such as a breaking news story, a candidate board, a party gain and loss, or any other number of scenes. - Select the Scene desired from the list.
- Select a Background. You can view a background thumbnail if desired.
Image Added - For scenes that include manual text entry, such as a name key, use the Caption Info tab to enter text to show with the scene.
Image Added - For scenes that include data entry, such as a candidate board, use the Riding/Candidates Info tab, the (...) buttons, and the selection options to select data to show with the scene.

| Scenes on Demand | Use the Utility Scenes tab to set up and show on demand one or more scenes as well as Breaking News or Ticker crawls. The crawls access the Elector database for breaking news and headline data; the remaining scenes support basic animation on and off only. Show Individual Scenes - Select the Scene desired from the list.
- Review the scene thumbnail using the Show Thumbnail option, if needed.
- Specify the Layer used to render the graphics
- Specify the Framebuffer type as fullframe or lower third to set which framebuffer to use.
Image Added - For Breaking News or Ticker crawls, set layer and framebuffer options using H/W Setup, and define the crawl topic using Tab Scene.

Show a Group of Scenes - Select and configure the scenes you want to show by selecting each Scene option.
