BLADE Runner's purpose is to push BLADE data to the local file system or ftp/sftp destinations. BLADE Runner supports multiple instances allowing the pushes to go to different ftp/sftp destinations and at different intervals.

Each BLADE Runner instance has 2 tabs, Run and Setup. The Run tab is used to define all the BLADE urls to be pushed. It also shows a countdown to the next push and a button to push now.

For example, the following screenshot shows BLADE urls' data being pushed to an ftp/sftp and to a local file. The Cloud checkbox determines whether pushes stay local or go to the optional ftp/sftp/S3 Bucket.

The setup tab has 3 purposes:

  1. ftp/sftp and AWS S3 coordinates. ftp, sftp and AWS are supported. For sftp, we also support private key files. This again is optional. There is no need to support ftp/sftp.

  2. interval of pushes

As a convenience to acquire BLADE urls, the menu item File->Discover BLADE URLS… provides a dialog for all available Chameleon containers and their urls:
