BL Soft’s Brando is a branding solution based on Ross XPression and provides support for displaying Bugs, Lower 3rds, Next Ups, Voice Overs, Tickers, Bumpers and Switcher graphics.
Brando reads XPression Projects to discover the Resource Scenes created for channel branding which are comprised of Scenes describing Bugs, Lower 3rds, Next Ups Boards, Tickers, Voice Overs, Bumpers and Switcher graphics. Brando uses a naming convention for the Scenes in the Xpression Projects to distinguish between the different types of Resources. As an example, all bugs in an Xpression Project must have Scene names with the prefix “Bug” for it to be a Bug Resource. To have the current Program name displayed in the scene, a Resource Tag with the name “Now” must be added to the Scene.
