Publish and Export

Publish

You can publish your project at anytime to make the scenes available in Chameleon, so that you may create Shows and Rundowns to test your project.

Flow Connection Manager

Before publishing your project the first time, you will need to define a connection to the Chameleon server. This can be done from menu item Settings→Flow Settings...

You may define connections to multiple servers, such as a local server for testing and a cloud instance for production use. The settings defined for each server provide the information needed to connect and update the database when publishing.

The login you use will need to have appropriate permissions to publish and upload the project to the server.  To successfully upload the project the Flow login used has to have: (version 1.2.8 or greater)

  1. Edit access to the content group of the project
  2. The Rundowns & Shows security privilege in Flow (currently assigned to the Producer, Super Producer or Sys Admin security groups)

Note

If your server is a cloud instance provided by Bannister Lake, please contact BL Sales.

Give your project a Published Name, which is the name you will see in Chameleon's Show Creator. Select Publish to publish.
