Custom topics are groupings of custom data which can be used to house any type of data that is available in dynamic fields.

Custom Data and Custom Topics are managed using the Content Control > Custom module.

Add New Custom Topic

  1. Select the desired Content Group from the list to add to that group. Content Groups are created and managed in the System Tools > Content Groups module.
     
  2. Enter a Topic Name to uniquely identify the topic in Chameleon. 
  3. The Broadcast Name is used in broadcast and displayed on air. Chameleon automatically populates the Broadcast Name with the Topic Name; however, you can modify Broadcast Name as needed.
  4. Click Add Now.
     

Manage Custom Topics

You can manage existing custom data at any time as follows:

Edit Custom Topics
  1. Click Edit to modify a custom topic.  
  2. Modify custom topic names as needed.
  3. Click Save Now to save your changes.

Remove Custom Topics

Removing a custom topic is a permanent action that cannot be undone.

Click on the  icon to remove the custom topic. Click OK to confirm.

Dynamic Fields for Custom Topics

You can assign Dynamic Fields to each Custom Topic. For more information visit Dynamic Fields
