Results SummaryThe summary of the results is presented in the Office Results Summary report. You access it via the icon in the top header or from it's link on the home dashboard. Image RemovedImage Added The results module provides summary data on each office in each municipality and can be filtered and sorted to best access the results you are looking for.Image Removed The I, A and E columns represent I = Incumbent A = Acclaimed E = Elected Each office record displays the leading candidate by name and then includes summary details: - Lead: ##
- this represents the number of more votes that the candidate has with respect to the next candidate
- a larger number indicates a stronger lead
- in our example Michael has 778 more votes then the next candidate
- Lead %
- this represents the % of votes that the candidate is leading by
- a larger number indicates a stronger lead
- in our example below Michael has 46% more votes then the next candidate
- Poll %
- this represents the percentage of total polls that are reporting
If an office supports multiple positions then there will be multiple candidates listed to reflect the number of available positions. If you prefer to always show all candidates - then set this value to a high number like 99. On the dashboard look forImage Added then you can view/edit:Image Removed Image Added
This setting defaults to allowing 4 trailing candidates for the office. So for a mayoral office with only 1 position available it would show at most 5 candidates (1 + 4). For a board office with 3 available positions it would show the top 7 candidates (3 + 4). Image Added
